ITANAGAR, Mar 14: State BJP secretary Doni Nich has assumed the office as vice chairman of the Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) in a function at the SAA office, Chimpu on Wednesday.
Assuming the office, Doni, who had served as BJP Yuva Morcha state president, national secretary and a former member of the Film Centre Board, assured to work for promotion of sports and games in the state.
Welcoming Nich, SAA Chairman Bamang Tago briefed the basic structures, including role and responsibility of the SAA and its objectives.
Tago expressed hope that Doni’s vast experiences would benefit the SAA for all-round of sports in the state.
Sports Director Tadar Appa, Youth Affairs Director D K Dinglow and SAA officials attended the programme, informed SAA member secretary Gumnya Karbak.
