ITANAGAR, Mar 15: The Arunachal Press Club (APC), Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APWUJ) and Arunachal Electronic Media Association (AEMA) deeply mourned the demise of Ellen Wood, mother of Dr Audrey Apang, Editor, The Arunachal Times, who breathed her last this morning in Shillong after prolonged illness.
While conveying their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members, the three organizations, in their joint message said, “It is the most trying time for the family members to cope with the irreparable loss”.
The media fraternity prayed to the almighty for eternal peace of her departed soul and also to give enough strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, members of the Sammanoy Gut Cooperative Society Ltd also extended condolences on the untimely demise of late Ellen Wood. All members and staff of CCRD expressed their sincerest sympathy for her loss and sent commiserations to her and her family. “We pray to almighty to give strength and courage to her family at this difficult time. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace”, it said.
