ITANAGAR, Mar 23: Claiming that many projects being implemented in Upper Subansiri district under schemes like SIDF, RIDF, SADA, NLCPR, etc, are substandard and still incomplete, the All Upper Subansiri Village Students’ Welfare Association has urged the district’s HoDs to ensure that quality of work is maintained.
The association in a release on Friday stated that while the state and central governments have allocated funds under the schemes for the development of the rural areas of the district, ‘sadly its benefits have not reached the targeted people.’
It further urged the heads of the departments concerned to ensure proper tender process and maintenance of work quality.
