ITANAGAR, Apr 7: A six-nation Indo-ASEAN car rally, initiated by the government of India and the Arunachal Pradesh government, will be flagged off from Tawang on 27 May.
The rally will pass through Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, covering a total distance of 9000 km in 30 days, before culminating at Imphal, Manipur on 20 June.
The event is supported by the external affairs ministry in a bid to foster India-ASEAN friendship under the Act East Policy.
