Lummer Dai remembered

NAHARLAGUN, Apr 7: A drawing and painting competition was organized for orphaned children to mark the 16th death anniversary of writer, novelist and the state’s doyen of journalism, Lummer Dai, at his residence in Prem Nagar here on Thursday.
Lummer Dai’s wife and editor the Echo of Arunachal, Nanni Dai later distributed the prizes and gifts to the participants.
Born on 1 June, 1940, to Jobu Dai and Komsak Dai of Siluk village in Mebo subdivision of East Siang district, Lummer Dai has many literary milestones to his credit, including novels like Paharar Shile Shile, Konyar Mulya, Prithivir Hanhi, Mon Aru Mon, and Upar Mahal.
