19 nurses receive caps

ITANAGAR, Apr 7: Nineteen students of the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital (RKMH) School of Nursing received their caps at a capping ceremony in Vivekananda Hall of the RKMH here on Saturday, on completion of their training.
They were the 31st batch of the nursing school.
The students, who received their caps from the principal and the vice principal of the school, took the service vows in Sanskrit, and the Nightingale Pledge.
The top three rank holders among the first, second and third year students were also awarded.
The function was followed by a cultural programme presented by the students of the nursing school.
The programme was presided over by Lumdung (East Kameng) RK Mission secretary Swami Sarvaganandaji Maharaj, and attended by Aini Taloh, founder head of voluntary blood donation organisation Ayang.
