ITANAGAR, Apr 10: Former chief minister Gegong Apang has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the demise of Odi Dai, wife of former chief secretary Matin Dai.
In a condolence message, Apang said, ‘Late Odi Dai was loved by all sections of the people of Arunachal and neighbouring states for her very pleasing and endearing personality. She was an accomplished lady and a caring mother.’
He said Dai’s death has left a void in her family and the society ‘which cannot be filled easily.’
Expressing condolences to the bereaved family, Apang prayed to Donyi-Polo to bestow strength to the family to bear the irreparable loss, and for eternal peace of the departed soul.
