PASIGHAT, Apr 19: The North East Environment Engineers & Consultants (NEEC) launched a vehicle pollution testing (VPT) centre at 2 Mile area here on Thursday.
Inaugurating the centre, East Siang District Transport Officer (MV) Chakfa Wangsu said the centre would help vehicle owners in complying with the ‘Pollution under Control’ system.
He appealed to vehicle owners to avail of the facility to obtain the necessary certificate from the centre. The DTO also asked vehicle owners to register all categories of vehicles.
MVI N Ete, Traffic In-charge Ravindra Singh, and All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation president Tabiram Moyong were also present. (DIPRO)
