Dobam FC, ASC and Young XI win
NAHRALGUN, Apr 23: Dobam FC, Arunachal SC and Young XI FC won their respective matches in the 5th Sub-Junior Boys (U-16) Dera Natung Football Tournament at RG Stadium here on Monday.
Dobam FC defeated Upper Subansiri 5-1 in the first match while Arunachal SC (ASC) and Young XI FC won their respective matches against Noob Boys FC and Deed Circle FC by an identical 3-1 margin.
Kipa Dodum gave Dobam FC the lead by scoring in the 18th minute, before Yura Taw doubled the score a few minutes later. Two goals from Nabam Ropo and an own goal by D Lilling piled up misery on Upper Subansiri. The consolation goal for Upper Subansiri was scored by Lohit Game in the 58th minute.
In the second match, Nenthak Hodong gave Arunachal SC an early lead by scoring in 15 seconds. Thereafter, Jacky Rapung and Jumrik Ninu scored a goal each. Yora Tani of Noob Boys reduced the margin to 1-3 by scoring in the scored half.
Tadar Aya scored two goals and Tame Tata one for Young XI FC in their win against Deed Circle in the third and last match of the day.
The lone goal for Deed Circle was netted by Dekey Abija in the second half.
