Min announces incentive for DID Little Master finalist

ITANAGAR, Apr 29: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Minister Dr Mohesh Chai announced Rs 50,000 for Taman Gamnu, one of the finalists of Dance India Dance (DID) Little Masters contest.
Dr Chai announced the amount during the foundation day celebration of the Dream for United Arunachal (DUA) at a hotel here on 27 April, according to a DUA release.
Hailing the DUA for its voluntary activities, Dr Chai assured his support to the group in its future endeavours.
State BJP president Tapir Gao, who also attended the function, lauded the Galo Welfare Society (GWS) for honouring DUA chairman Gumjum Haider with its ‘youth icon award’ during its 18th foundation day celebration in West Siang HQ Aalo this year.
Appreciating the concept of honouring youths with distinguished service records, Gao said he would take up with the state government regarding initiating similar awards, “so that such youth icons can act as ambassadors of the state and work towards a pan-Arunachal identity.”
Parliamentary Secretary Jambey Tashi, who is also the chief patron of DUA, also spoke.
A team from the GWS, led by Dr Minge Loyi, along with AAPSU vice president (protocol) Tayuk Sonam, Galo Students’ Union president Binya Ronya, and former student leaders also attended the function.
