YUPIA, May 16: Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye called upon the Health department and all line departments to work with team spirit for the Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) programme to be successful in the district.
Chairing a district level steering committee meeting on IDCF on 16 May at the ZPC hall here, the deputy commissioner also informed that administrative officers in outpost and district administration would assist in proper implementation of the programme. He advised medical officers in-charge to conduct IDCF coordination meetings with concerned administrative officers.
DRCHO Dr J Ado presented an overview of the IDCF campaign in Papum Pare district, incentivisation on full immunization and review on the first round of SIMI.
The IDCF is a nationwide drive to control diarrhoea, and will be held from 28 May to 9 June. The goal of the IDCF is to attain zero deaths due to childhood diarrhoea. (DIPRO)
