MEBO, May 28: A cleanliness drive was carried out by the villagers of Siluk in Mego circle of East Siang district recently.
The villagers cleared roadside weeds, bushes, and jungles near houses, government establishments, and schools. They also cleaned mosquito-breeding areas to stop the spread of vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue.
The drive was organized by the Silukian Welfare Kebang.
