NAHARLAGUN, Jun 12: Officers of the cooperation department from several districts participated in a training programme on geo-tagging which was held in the conference hall of the registrar of cooperative societies here on Tuesday.
Organized under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikash Yojna (RKVY), the programme saw the participation of officers from Upper Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, East Siang, Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Lohit, and Changlang districts, in addition to officers from the Apex Bank and the RWD’s soil and water conservation sector.
The training was imparted by ADOs (ER) Idar Nyori and ADO (RKVY) Techi Taura from the agriculture directorate. The resource persons made PowerPoint presentations on the registration process and ‘geo-tagging on implementation of RKVY schemes in the district level’. They also presented a demonstration on the process of registration through the Bhuvan RKVY portal.
