5 from state leave for Changwon K-Pop World Festival

ITANAGAR, Jun 13: High Energy Crew, a K-Pop (Korean Pop) dance group of Arunachal Pradesh, comprising five members, left here on Wednesday for Mizoram to participate in the regional round of Changwon K-Pop World Festival to be held at Aizawl on 16 June.
Artists/participants from different states of the Northeast will vie with each other for the top honours for a place in the finals to be held later in Delhi, informed Gyamar Karmey, Art and Culture Secretary, ANSU. The winner in the final round will represent the country at the World K-Pop contest in South Korea.
The ANSU leader acknowledged the moral support and financial assistance extended to the participating group by state BJP vice president Tame Phassang, Parliamentary Secretary Kumsi Sidisow and philanthropist Tarh Hari and many others.
“The trip would not have been possible without the financial sponsorship of these charismatic personalities,” Karmey said.
