AALO, Jun 13: The Darka Bridge to Doke -Bam boundary stretch of the Aalo-Likabali road was maintained during a social service conducted by the Memo Youth Welfare Association in collaboration with the Pushi Bango Welfare Society.
Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Tumke Bagra and West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan also joined the day-long social service.
The road was lying in a deplorable condition for want of maintenance. The commuters had almost abandoned the road that connects West and Lower Siang with the rest of the state due to the bad condition of the road stretch.
The economic activities all along the road has also come to a standstill for which, the poor villagers had to face tough time in selling their horticultural produces and vegetables. (DIPRO)
