ITANAGAR, Jun 13: WCD & SJE & TA Special Secretary Kinny Singh inspected various Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) under the Urban ICDS Project, here on Wednesday.
During her visit, Singh gave stress on monitoring of various activities being done at the AWCs. She also suggested the ICDS project to place its demands for necessary requirements to the higher-ups on time.
She was accompanied by Nyapi Ringu, deputy director ICDS (Hq) and SC Tok, CDPO, Urban ICDS Project, during the visit.
Later, accompanied by WCD director TP Loyi, Singh visited Oju Welfare Association (OWA) in Naharlagun. She inspected the Special Adoption Agency (Shishu Greh), Children Home, Swadhaar Greh, (Short Stay Home), Family Counseling Centre, Women Help Line (WHL) and the production-cum-training centre under the association, and interacted with officials and functionaries.
OWA chairman Ratan Anya gave a brief account of the NGO and its activities.
She also visited the One Stop Centre (OSC) at TRIHMS and interacted with the functionaries .
