HATIDUBA, Jun 15: Agriculture Minister Dr Mohesh Chai on Friday inaugurated two classrooms and a teachers’ staff room at the government upper primary school here in Sunpura circle of Lohit district.
The work was funded under the 2016-17 MPLADS.
On the sideline of the inaugural programme, a team of the district’s jan sunvai sammelan (JSS), headed by Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki, reached out to the people of Sunpura circle and apprised them of the various welfare and developmental schemes, such as Dulari Kanya, Ujjwala Yojana, MGNREGA, etc, of the state and central governments.
The villagers who have not yet opened their bank accounts were asked to do so at the earliest. They were asked to link their bank accounts with their Aadhaar cards, and were briefed on the formation of the district and gram interim committees after the dissolution of the panchayati raj in the state.
In spite of inclement weather, there was massive participation by villagers of Hatiduba and adjoining villages.
Later, Dr Chai along with the DC and HoDs inspected ongoing projects in Sunpura circle under the MLALAD fund, untied fund, and the state infrastructure development fund (SIDF).
The JSS in the district was earlier launched by Dr Chai on the sideline of the launching programme of the Chief Minister’s Adarsh Gram Yojana in Loiliang. (DIPRO)
