LONGDING, Jun 19: Members of the Longding District Task Force for Immunization (DTFI) on Monday held discussions on the strategies to be adopted to achieve cent percent immunization coverage during the 3rd round of the weeklong Special Intensified Mission Indradhanush (SIMI) which starts on 23 June.
Reviewing the performance under SIMI during the second round, Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh Malik emphasized the need to carry out more routine immunization drives to improve the coverage. He asked the medical officers (MO) in-charge to prepare and submit their micro plans for effective routine vaccination.
For effective implementation of the Dulari Kanya scheme, he instructed the MOs in-charge to collect and submit the data of the beneficiaries.
