Skill development trg imparted

ROING, Jun 19: A total of 105 participants benefited from a skill development training programme on large cardamom plantation and local craft making, organised by local NGO Change Foundation in collaboration with the horticulture and the textiles & handicrafts departments.
The valedictory programme was held on Tuesday at the NGO’s head office in the premises of Ridgeview Public School in Kera Ati, in the presence of Roing ADC Chesta Yadav, DPO Marto Dirchi, and Textiles & Handicrafts Assistant Director Aparam Pertin.
Yadav congratulated the participants and the NGO on the success of the programme, and encouraged the beneficiaries to make use of the skills they have learnt during the training. She urged them to pass on their knowledge to others in their villages.
The participants were awarded with certificates, honorariums and tools. The crafts items made by the trainees during the training process were also put on exhibition during the valedictory programme.
The training programme was sponsored by the government of India under the BADP 2017-18 for the people of Hunli-Desali circle.
