Workshop on MR surveillance system held

YUPIA, Jun 20: A one-day district Measles-Rubella case-based surveillance transitioning workshop was conducted by the Papum Pare District Health Society, at the ZPC hall here on Wednesday.
Presiding over the workshop, District Medical Officer Dr Tasso Subu Kampu briefed on the objective of the programme and requested all the participants to take benefit of the workshop.
Family Welfare Deputy Director Dr Amping Perme spoke on the important issues of family planning, empanelment of gynaecologists with state government, Rashtriya Bal Swasthyia Karyakaram (RBSK) performance, Health Management Information System(HMIS), DBT of incentives, etc.
Stressing upon timely update of data, Dr Perme requested all to provide the data on regular basis besides maintaining accurate report to prevent any error in data recording.
SMO WHO Dr Tage Taka and DSO, IDSP Dr R Ronya, who were the resource persons, gave presentation on various topics pertaining to Measles-Rubella, including the ongoing Measles-Rubella outbreak surveillance system; Measles-Rubella surveillance data analysis and planning interventions as per the data, and ways and means to strengthen the system in the district.
DPM Dugyir Padu also gave presentation on Dulari Kanya and Incentivization scheme.
The in-charge medical officers, health assistants and staffers of the directorate of health services, besides representatives from private hospitals like Heema, Niba and RKM attended the programme. (DIPRO)
