In Mann Ki Baat PM spoke about Celebrating Doctors Day on 1st July- birth & death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B C Roy.
In 2016, thousands gathered for funeral of Dr.Balasubramanian, of Coimbatore, who charged only Rs.20 from patients and gave free service to people who couldn’t afford it. It is hard to believe even in this era with skyrocketing prices, such a noble soul with a generous heart existed.
But let us not forget Doctors are next to God as they have the power to save human lives!
