NEW DELHI, Jul 4: Power Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Tamiyo Taga attended a conference of power and energy ministers of state and union territories at Shimla on Tuesday.
Energy conservation and achievements of Saubhagya Yojana were discussed in the meet.
Major discussions were also held about the Deen dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana through which, 498 villages are covered and 6863 households electrified.
Minister Taga briefed about the schemes taken up by the Government of Arunachal and informed that Arunachal is gearing up to launch the Saubhagya Scheme through which, all households are set to get electrification by December 2018.
Taga was accompanied by Commissioner Power GS Meena, APEDA Director Marki Loya and state ST Morcha BJP president Hinium Tachu.
