ITANAGAR, Jul 7: Members of the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Labour Cell, led by its chairman Yangbiu Takik met the principal chief conservator of forests (PCCF) here on Saturday and requested him to take urgent steps to ensure early release of the pending wages of labourers engaged by the forest department.
The labour cell later said the PCCF gave assurance that he would ensure that the wages, pending for the last four months, are released within two weeks.
