NAMSAI, Jul 8: Thirty-five students participated in a painting competition on the occasion of the 4th inception day of the National Highway & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) at the government secondary school here on Saturday.
Celebrating the day along with all its other branches, the NHIDCL’s Namsai branch, under the aegis of the district administration, organized the painting competition on the topics, ‘Traffic rules’, ‘Swachh Bharat’, and ‘My vision of a good road’ for the primary students of the school.
NHIDCL branch manager (project) Ezaz Ahamed informed that the company will also organize a cancer detection and drug de-addiction awareness camp on 12 July here.
The NHIDCL is a fully owned company of the road transport & highways ministry, which promotes, surveys, establishes, designs, builds, operates, maintains and upgrades the national highways and strategic roads.
Its Namsai branch is currently executing 31 national and state highway projects all over Arunachal Pradesh.
