PASIGHAT, Jul 11: Ex-APCS officer Nyongom Borang breathed his last after prolonged illness at Mirsam village in East Siang district on Tuesday.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters.
Born to Kokyol Borang and Komro Borang in the year 1945, Nyongom started his career as LDA in 1963. He served the state in various capacities as LDC, UDC, Circle Officer, BDO and EAC and retired as SDO on 31 December, 2002.
Officers and staff of East Siang DC office headed by Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to late Borang on Wednesday. (DIPRO)
