It has been made known that under Chief Minister Samast Shiksha Yojona (CMSSY) , the district administration of Capital Complex has fixed the date sheet of First Periodic Test of Classes I- XII from 29th August to 4th September 2018.
We gladly welcome and appreciate the various initiatives undertaken by the Deputy Commissioner, Capital Complex, Itanagar to improve the educational system of the Capital Complex.
However, we are very much distressed by the date sheet prepared by district administration for First Period Test under CMSSY because the test is ending on 4th September, a before the Teachers day.
It has been a practice that every year Teachers’ Day is organized by Children of respective schools to give due honor and respect to our dear teachers. We were planning to celebrate but our plan has been shattered by the recent datesheet prepared by district administration. Within a day, we won’t be able to make any arrangements.
We would like to request the district administration to reconsider the date of First Periodic Test by act of postponing the exam of Sept 3–4 to some other days and allow us to set some arrangements for the celebration of Teachers Day 2018. Please treat this letter as the voice of the students of Capital.
