CHIMPU, Sep 1: Leaders are always there to serve the society at all times, to best of their ability, said local MLA Techi Kaso.
Addressing the residents after inaugurating the 191-metre CC pavement from the Forest Corporation tri-junction to Lower Forest Colony/Sangrik Hapa Colony near here Saturday, Kaso said the government “is for the people, and all their problems and need-based schemes will naturally be looked into.”
He said the schemes which were proposed last year would be executed first, while the new ones would be taken up next year, and appealed to the people to have patience.
He also urged the residents to maintain the CC pavement and cause no harm to it to ensure its durability.
PWD Capital Division-A Assistant Engineer Neelam Mama informed that the construction of the road is almost complete.
He informed that the pavement was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakhs.
Departmental engineers and members of the Sangrik Hapa Colony Development Committee were present at the inauguration.
