GOILIANG, Sep 2: The third chapter of the Anjaw district administration’s ‘Sarkar aapke dwar’ programme was held here on Saturday, facilitating hundreds of people in availing government services on the spot.
The event was inaugurated by DC Dagbom Riba, who spoke on the purpose and benefits of the programme.
The election department demonstrated the use of EVMs/VVPAT, the medical department carried out various tests and provided medicines for free, the veterinary department distributed medicines for cattle, and the forest department distributed saplings, lanterns and flashlights.
Services were also provided to the people by the agriculture, horticulture, and labour & employment departments, the PHED, the APEDA, the general administration, and the APB&OCWWB. (DIPRO)
