ITANAGAR, Sep 24: The Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) has finally got a permanent office, which was inaugurated here on Monday by APB&OCWWB Chairman Jalley Sonam.
The building has been purchased readymade at an estimated cost of Rs 4.5 crore.
Addressing the media, Sonam said the board’s dream of having its own permanent office has finally been fulfilled.
“The office of the board has been shifting from one building to another building, which caused a lot of inconvenience to the staffs, members of the board, and the registered workers of state. With the support of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Labour Minister Kumar Waii, the permanent office building has been bought,” said Sonam.
Trade union leaders, officers and officials of the board, and others were present on the occasion.
