ITANAGAR, Sep 26: The All Arunachal Pradesh Workers’ Union (AAPWU) has in a representation to the state chief secretary on Wednesday sought immediate cancellation of illegal appointments made under the superintending engineer (E) APEC-IV, Dirang.
The union has alleged that three persons were appointment under the SE (E) Dirang against the posts of meter reader and lineman without conducting DPC, trade test, which it claimed was a violation of the recruitment rules.
“The illegal appointments have deprived all senior-most contingency and casual workers who have been serving under the department for decades,” the union claimed.
