YINGKIONG, Oct 5: A district level women’s volleyball tournament was inaugurated at the general ground here by Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang on 1 October.
In his address the minister lauded the Sikiing Kojee Charitable Society (SKCS) for organizing the tournament and providing women with a platform to showcase their sporting talent.
Upper Siang DC Duly Kamduk also spoke.
SKCS general secretary Dr Mity Jopir informed that 15 teams in different age groups are participating in the tournament, which will conclude on 7 October. (DIPRO)
