Roing, Oct 10: A huge crowd from nearby villages availed the government services at their doorsteps in the 4th Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar camp held at the Parbuk Lalung ground, Parbuk in Lower Dibang Valley district on Wednesday.
District Administration including Parbuk Circle Office and a large number of government departments and agencies including Food and Civil Supply, Veterinary, Transport, Economics and Statistics, Health and Family Welfare, Agriculture & Horticulture, Power, Tax and Excise, Forest and Textile & Handicraft departments, Election office, APEDA, NIC participated in the camp and provided government services to the people. They also created awareness on the CM’s flagship programmes and other Government welfare schemes.
Earlier, the camp was inaugurated by Head Gaon Burah of Parbuk, Popo Boko in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom, Gaon Burahs, heads of departments and public.
At Jerigaon under Nafra administrative circle in West Kameng district, villagers from Jerigaon, Khoina, Saddle, Rurang and Dinchang villages benefited from the fifth edition of the ‘Government at your doorstep’ programmes held on Wednesday. More than 28 departments participated. Distribution of LPG cylinders with stoves, issuance of ST, PRC, Aadhar, ration cards, opening of bank accounts, sale of LED bulbs, dissemination of information on CMAAY and Dulari Kanya and distribution of tools and implements to the farmers took the center stage of the programme.
The students of Government ME School Jerigaon were also taken to the programme and appraised about the activities of the departments and other undertakings including initiation to the Electoral Literacy Camp. Earlier, ADC Nafra R Chiduni inaugurated a Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin) building and dedicated it to the beneficiary concerned. DIPROs
