SANGRAM, Oct 12: Renowned priest and gaon burah of Nyapin-Sangram, Tamchi Tami passed away at the age of 75 after a prolonged illness, here on 10 October.
His last rite was performed on Friday.
Offering his condolences, Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary (Hq & admin) Tamchi Tahar said that Tami was an active social worker, and a man of principle and simplicity.
“His untimely demise has created a vacuum in our family in particular and the people of Nyapin-Sangram as a whole,” he said.
