ITANAGAR, Oct 15: The 24th Vishwakarma Running Football Trophy-2108 Tournament began at the playground of KV No.2, Chimpu near here on Monday.
The opening match was played between defending champion KK FC and Chimpu FC. The match ended in 2-2 draw.
Tagin Rai and Kunal Kena of KK FC and Sangha Tallo and Karling Fafa of Chimpu FC scored the goals for their respective teams.
Chairman of Biological Park & Gyekar Sinyi Protection and Development Society Taro Tagia and general secretary of state Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Beli Gadi attended the inaugural ceremony.
The tournament is organized by the Lion Club of Chimpu.
