Meeting held on ‘Arunachal Rising Campaign’

TEZU, Oct 24: A district-level consultative meeting on the ‘Arunachal Rising Campaign’ for Lohit district was held in the office of the deputy commissioner here in Lohit district on Tuesday.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki sought the active co-operation from all for proper implementation of the ‘Arunachal Rising Campaign’ in the district.
He directed the DDSE to identify co-ordinators from each secondary and senior secondary school for dissemination of information regarding the campaign to the school students and make necessary arrangement for conduct of quizzes and other literary activities in all the schools.
The DMO was instructed to select the best ASHA workers, while the ICDS deputy director was asked to select best Anganwadi workers.
DDA, DVO and DHOs were directed to identify best progressive farmers for the matter pertaining to the selection process.
The DC sought active co-operation from all the members present for successful implementation of the Arunachal Rising Campaign in the district.
Earlier in the day, a district-level Governor’s GK Quiz and Trophy Competition 2018 was also conducted at BRC Training Building Tezu, wherein government secondary school Wakro, government higher secondary school, Tezu and government secondary school, Loiliang secured first, second and third positions respectively.
A total of seven government higher secondary and government secondary schools of the district took part in the competition.
