ANINI, Oct 25: A health camp for workers was jointly organized here by the Dibang Valley district units of the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) and the All Arunachal Pradesh Workers’ Union (AAPWU) on 20 October.
A team of doctors led by DMO Dr S Ronya screened patients for various diseases, and distributed medicines to free of cost.
Anini ADC Goutam Hazarika handed over a cheque to one of the kin of late K Mipi, an ALC serving under the Mipi circle office, who died in an accident recently.
CO Rosalind Pertin gave away insurance numbers to the registered workers under the APB&OCWWB.
RO SB Namsa Gyadi and district AAPWU (BMS) president Jando Taru also spoke.
