LUCKNOW, Oct 29: A team of officials from the Arunachal Pradesh agriculture and horticulture departments showcased the state’s rich diversity in agri-allied organic produce during the agriculture expo ‘Krishi Kumbh – 2018′ which concluded here on Sunday.
The three-day event was organised by the Uttar Pradesh government with Japan and Israel as partner countries.
The Arunachal team, comprising Agriculture Deputy Director Karbom Riram, HDO Hibu Dante, ADO (HQ) Idar Nyori and RD Singh, showcased the agri- horti organic (under conversion) products from the state to project the state’s agriculture potential and to provide a platform for interaction among stakeholders.
Information on farmers’ producers’ companies engaged in the state on organic production process of various crops was also shared with prospective buyers.
