ROING, Oct 30: MLA Mutchu Mithi inaugurated the automized electrical system at the power house here on Tuesday.
The MLA expressed hope that the power-system automation would improve the power delivery system and other processes associated with it, like controlling and monitoring.
Power AE Philip Lego informed that automizing the 11 kv feeders and low tension distribution panels at the Roing power house and the New Colony substation, funded under the SIDF at a cost of Rs 3.50 crore, would make it convenient to control the power supply to Roing town from one controlling station.
ADC T Pertin, SP SK Sain, EE N Modi, HoDs, and staff of the power department were present on the occasion. (DIPRO)
