ITANAGAR, Nov 1: To increase the security measures in the campus of Dera Natung Government College (DNGC) here, the college authority has installed a security gate at the college’s entrance. It was inaugurated on Thursday by Capital Complex SP M Harsha Vardhan.
DNGC Principal Dr NT Rikam said the security measure was long overdue and came to fruition due to the collective effort of the college community in mobilizing and generating resources.
The SP lauded the initiative and said it has set an example for all other institutions, organizations and associations.
With the installation of the security gate, which is equipped with CCTV surveillance, Vardhan said the gate would be included among the police’s patrolling stations in the interest of the college community.
