ITANAGAR, Nov 4: The state branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Saturday organized an outreach programme to generate public awareness on personal hygiene and safety measures to reduce the spread of diseases.
The programme focussed on cancer and the effects of tobacco consumption, menstrual hygiene, and adolescent health.
Free iron folic acid tablets, sanitary pads and spectacles were distributed during the camp, which was conducted by a team of doctors from RK Mission Hospital and the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences.
