ITANAGAR, Dec 4: World Disability Day was observed at Dorjee Khandu State Convention Hall here on Monday last by the members of the All Arunachal Pradesh Divyangjan Welfare Committee (AAPDWS).
The day is being observed world-wide on 3 December aims at promoting rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of development and society.
Social worker, Techi Neera and Itanagar Market Welfare Association president, Yumlam Achung attended the event which saw the huge participation of members of various district, state besides, capital unit Itanagar and central unit of Divyangjan Welfare Society.
