PASIGHAT, Dec 15: Twenty-two teachers from secondary and higher secondary schools of East Siang district entrusted with the role of communicators under the ‘Arunachal Rising’ campaign were imparted training here on 14 December.
Addressing the communicators, DC Tamiyo Tatak asked them to take the training programme seriously and share the knowledge they gain among their students. He also asked the teachers to send weekly feedback to the IPR department.
“A number of welfare schemes launched for infrastructure development, in addition to health and hygiene, irrigation and cultivation, education sector, etc, have resulted in positive changes in the lives of countless citizens,” Tatak said.
“Students being the future guardians of the state and the nation have the right to know about the government’s initiatives,” he said.
The DC assured to provide adequate publicity materials, and to monitor the progress of the campaign from time to time.
