DAPORIJO, Dec 18: An Itanagar-bound Tata Sumo taxi carrying seven passengers met with a fatal accident near Puchi-Geku in Lower Subansiri district on Tuesday morning, leaving a passenger dead on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Taje Bagbi. He was serving in the 4th IRBn of the Arunachal Pradesh Police, said the OC of the police station here.
The remaining six passengers, who sustained grievous injuries, have been rushed to the district hospital here.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered at the police station by the relatives of the deceased against the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident.
