ITANAGAR, Dec 19: All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary in charge of Arunachal Pradesh, Luizinho Feleiro, said the BJP has “debarred Arunachal Pradesh from infrastructural development.”
He said this during a social media awareness programme held under the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee’s (APCC) ‘sangharsh sammelan’ at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday.
An APCC release said Feleiro vehemently condemned the BJP “for disturbing and misleading the people of the state with fake promises.”
He encouraged the gathering of Congress leaders and workers “not to reverse the dedication that the people of Arunachal Pradesh have for Congress,” and to gain proper knowledge about social media tools and technology to reach the masses.
APCC president Takam Sanjoy in his address highlighted party-related development activities, while AICC’s Northeast social media in-charge, Pranab Vachcharajani, explained various social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, chat messages, Vimeo, etc, and spoke on how to counter fake news.
A host of Congress leaders, including AICC secretary in charge of Arunachal Zenith Sangma, AIMCC general secretary in charge of Arunachal Kim Singaisui Haokip, AIMCC general secretary Jarjum Ete, CLP leader Takam Pario, and APCC vice president Bosiram Siram attended the programme, the release added.
