When New Life Fellowship Church in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur witnesses gruesome attack on the Christian devotees by the Hindutva philistines and lumpens with swords iron rods beer bottles landing many of the injured in ICU; Belur Math prays to Mother Mary and Jesus with the Hindu monks singing Christmas Carols! And in Kolkata, Archbishop Thomas D’Souza and Swami Suparnananda, secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture have rendered a joint prayer before a portrait of Jesus at Vivekananda Hall at the Golpark Institute!
The barbaric brigade, acting as self-declared guardians of Hindus who dare to take the name of Swami Vivekananda in their communal lips full of hatred and get known as “saffronites”; should learn a lesson on humanity mutual respect and communal brotherhood from these saffron-clad Hindu monks of institutions based on the ideals of Vivekananda!
The highly polarised Indian society should draw inspiration from the liberal credentials of Ramakrishna Mission and simply throw out the devil lot from all over the country who beats up Christians, kill Muslims in the name of Gomata torture Dalits and inject communal poison in the society to earn electoral dividend.
