SAGALEE, Dec 31: Doimukh will represent Papum Pare in the men’s and women’s football tournaments in the state level Hangpan Dada Memorial Trophy (HDMT) tournaments to be held at Lohit HQ Tezu from 7 January.
The men’s football team from Doimukh defeated Sagalee 4-1 while their women counterpart beat the opponent from the same constituency 4-0 in the finals.
Balijan and Sagalee won the men’s and women’s volleyball tournament, respectively, and will represent the district at the state level tournaments.
The runners-up were Doimukh (in men’s volleyball) and Balijan. The tournaments concluded at the general ground here on 29 December.
The trophies, certificates and medals to the winners, runners-up and the best players were distributed by the Toru circle officer. (DIPRO)
