LONGDING, Jan 10: A national integration tour organised by the Longding battalion of the Indian Army for 20 meritorious Class 9 and 11 students of Longding district was jointly flagged off by Deputy Commissioner VS Mallik, SP Rohit Meena and the battalion’s Commanding Officer, Col M Karmakar, from here on Thursday.
The DC advised the students to learn new things during the tour.
“We should expand our space to understand each other, and through this exposure tour you will understand how big our India is,” he said.
He also urged the youths to “understand the Indian Army and cooperate with them in every mission they take up for the welfare of the society and the security of the nation.” (DIPRO)
