NAMSAI, Jan 18: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Kaling Tayeng visited Namsai on Friday and spoke to the DEOs, ROs and AROs of eight districts of eastern Arunachal who are undergoing election training here.
Tayeng advised the DC and the other election officers to get acquainted with the latest election processes to mitigate any procedural lapses.
“Conducting free and fare election is always a challenge which requires proper management plan and execution,” he said.
The CEO said several changes have been effected over the last few years along with introduction IT application to conduct free and fair elections, and advised the trainees to become well-versed with the election process.
