YUPIA, Jan 18: The Yupia Youth Welfare Association has sought the Papum Pare deputy commissioner’s intervention in evicting illegal occupants of land in district headquarters Yupia.
In a representation to the DC, the association said government officials and others are indulging in rampant encroachment on government land in Yupia, which it said is “creating misunderstanding between genuine land donors and outsiders.”
The association urged the district administration to carry out an eviction drive at the earliest.
