Political aspirants share visions

REYING, Feb 12: The aspiring MP and MLA candidates of the Arunachal West parliamentary constituency and the Rumgong assembly segment shared their visions of development during a ‘vision sharing programme’ organized here in Payum circle of Siang district by the Chebung Banggo on 10 February.
Attending the programme, Jarjum Ete, Talem Tabol and Tahang Taggu focussed on the lack of developmental activities in Payum circle even after more than 50 years of its existence.
The circle is devoid of road communication, healthcare and school facilities, and locally-made stretchers are used to take patients to the road-end, they lamented.
Chebung Banggo Welfare Society (CBWS) president Tangak Tabang highlighted the problems faced by the people of Payum circle, and said road connectivity is the lifeline of all development.
CBWS secretary-general Dr Taking Paser spoke on the role of the CBWS, while its chief advisor, Tasor Pali, highlighted the importance of such vision-sharing programme.
“It will inspire the people of the areas towards need for development,” Pali said. (DIPRO)
